Net Identity
Your online identity starts with your domain name
A domain name makes sure your website is available by the name you have chosen. FirstServed allows you to register, transfer or renew your domain names. As official and accredited .BE and .EU agent we are bound to the DNS Domain Ethix code of conduct. This makes sure the registration, administration and management of your domain is bound to certain official guidelines.
More then just domain registration
If you register your domain name at FirstServed you will be able to use extra free included services:
Free POP3/IMAP mailbox (for Outlook Express, Thunderbird,...)
Each domain package gives you the right to use a POP3/IMAP mailbox. This mailbox can be consulted by using your e-mail client (e.g. Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird). Each FirstServed mailbox is equipped with an anti-spam and double anti-virus filter!
Free e-mail forwarding to an existing address
If you wish, you may forward e-mail from an e-mail address on your new domain name (for example info@mydomain.com) to an external mailbox (for example yourusername@yourprovider.com).
Usage of FirstServed name servers
In order to make your website and e-mail address reachable on the Internet, you will need a domain name that will point to the right web server and mail server. If you register your domain name at FirstServed, we will make sure that the right data will be entered in our name servers, even if you do not choose to use the FirstServed e-mail and hosting services. You can always change these "zone" records in our customer selfcare website.
Redirection to your website
If you own webspace at a different provider you may redirect your domain name. We will make sure that whoever surfs to your domain name, will automatically arrive at your website, no matter where it is located.
Domain name parking
If you already registered your domain name, but you do not own webspace or you do not have the intention to link your domain name to a website, you may park your domain name. FirstSerevd will make sure your domain name shows a temporary page informing visitors that your website is still under construction.
