What is a domain name extension?
A domain name exists out of two parts, the name and the extension. For 'firstserved.net' the name is 'firstserved' and the extension is '.net'.
You can register several names with several extensions at FirstServed. For some extensions there are certain restrictions: in some countries you need to have a valid address. FirstServed offers the ability to use a contact address by FirstServed in these cases, this allows you to use the domain name extensions that otherwise would be unavailable to you.
