VPN access

IPsec

IPsec or Internet Protocol Security is one of the most sturdy VPN technologies available on the Internet. This technology is frequently used for linking the IP networks of two or more physical sites (branches) by using a secure connection. IPsec uses a two phase system when establishing the connection.

When the connection is lost, it will automatically be reinitiated. Both tunnel points are defined by a fixed IP address.

A with IPSec secured connection can not be redirected to a third machine. This protocol will work perfectly with your FirstServed Dedicated Firewall and for example the firewall at your office so the connection for the end user is kept transparant.

IPSec can guarantee security for even the higest demands thanks to encryption standards such as AES (Advanced Encryption Standard).
